Chief Executive Officer

Michelle is a dynamic executive who has led staffing and human resource teams nationally.  Prior to taking on the role of CEO, Michelle served on the YUPRO Board of Directors and now is excited to bring together her passion for helping others and her industry experience.  Michelle plans to continue building a sustainable future for the socially-driven mission of YUPRO.  Michelle’s experience includes leading the national operations for an after-school program for under-privileged youth as well as teaching and mentoring students when she was an instructor at Houston Community College for 17 years.  Throughout her career Michelle has had direct impact in motivating opportunity youth.  She has experienced firsthand the impact that a socially-responsible organization can make in shaping children, families and a community.  “YUPRO’s foundation and mission is grounded in Year Up; our goal is to build on this foundation and carry this mission nationally to markets and companies who seek a socially responsible opportunity to hire top talent.  We will create an opportunity youth placement movement in today’s workforce that matters to the future of our country.”   

Kris Norris
VP Strategic Expansion

Kris has over 25 years experience in the recruiting/placement industry. She began her career in the direct placement area, and then moved into temporary placement and management. Her career highlights include two successful startup endeavors, identifying, and developing national sales teams, as well as being instrumental in rebuilding distressed markets. She currently acts as a coach/mentor to entry level executives as well as coaching senior executives as they transition into new positions. Kris has been deeply involved in both diversity organizations nationally; supporting national/ local groups and their initiatives and charitable organizations that support children and youth. “I am excited to take my experience in the recruiting industry and use it advance the career path of ProCentric individuals. These young professionals have tremendous work ethic and potential; it will be wonderful to watch them grow.”

Wendy Nenoff
Senior Director of Operations

Wendy is a staffing and recruiting leader with over 15 years of experience in both the staffing and education industries. Her diverse background focuses on business and talent development and strategic account management. Her core motivation of providing top notch services to both her clients and her candidates as well as driving others to reach their potential resonates in each of her previous roles. Wendy looks forward to using her previous private sector experience, as well as her passion for helping others reach their potential, to help achieve ProCentric’s socially driven mission. “I believe in creating remarkable experiences for both my clients and candidates. There is no greater reward than finding and teaching others to use their strengths.”

Nick DeTarr
Account Associate

Nick DeTarr is a California native who recently joined the team. He graduated from The Master’s University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in marketing. His motivation for helping others was realized as he became an assistant coach for The First Tee of the Central Coast.  While working for this company his passion for helping others grew as he helped kids from ages four to fourteen learn how to have fun with golf and how to improve as people via the Nine Core Values of the program. Nick has a long-term goal of working for an organization where what he does benefits others more than himself.  He is excited about this opportunity and looks forward to the future!

Liz Durigan
Special Projects Manager

A Rhode Island native transplanted to the Berkshires, Elizabeth joined YUPRO and ProCentric from the University of Massachusetts’ Isenberg School of Business, where she coordinated outreach efforts for the Alumni and Corporate Relations team. She holds an undergraduate degree in Health and Human Services and an MBA in Marketing and Project Management and is thrilled to have found a position that allows her to blend both of those areas, using her project management and marketing skills to have an impact on students and communities around the country.

Kate Castine
Special Projects Associate

Kate has recently relocated to Colorado after growing up on the East Coast. She holds a degree in Psychology and has a diverse background in Sales, Human Resources, Staffing, and Recruiting. Kate joined YUPRO and ProCentric as a Talent Engagement Specialist and recently transitioned into the role of Special Projects Associate. Kate plays a critical part in our outreach to YearUp Alumni and most recently began coaching young adults in our Job Search Coaching Program. She has a passion for helping opportunity youth discover their full potential and achieve their career goals. She loves to spend her free time reading, creating and exploring all the beauty Colorado has to offer. “Imagine no limitations on what you can be, have or do.”

Margaret Walkup
Regional Director - West

Margaret comes to YUPRO from Year Up in Corporate Engagement and Program roles for nearly seven years in the Boston, Washington, D.C., and Bay Area offices. She was a member of the inaugural class of the Year Up Emerging Leaders Program in 2013. Her work in developing corporate partnerships has been grounded in her deep belief in the capabilities of young people and her desire to build partnerships that meet market needs and create workplaces that represent the diversity of our communities. In addition to her experience at Year Up, she has worked on Opportunity Youth initiatives at Citi Foundation and at the Clinton Foundation. Margaret is committed to using her experience building partnerships to further the mission of YUPRO and reach many more talented young people.

Katie Breault
Regional Director - East

Katie Breault brings over a decade of experience marked by her ability to build strategic relationships and develop creative solutions that meet business needs. Prior to YUPRO, she led the planning, development and implementation of a program to combat the high unemployment rate among young adults with vision impairments; served as the founding employment placement manager at Year Up Arizona; and partnered with Gallup, Inc. to launch the first Strengths-Based State initiative, which propelled Rhode Island from 49th in the country to 1st in employee engagement. Katie discovered Year Up through a volunteer opportunity to mentor one of the most talented, resilient, and hardest-working young adults she had ever met. Through this relationship, she was inspired to devote her career to connecting Opportunity Youth with companies looking for talent. With her mentee at the forefront of her mind, Katie is committed to helping her clients tap into this exceptional, and yet often overlooked, source of talent.
